“I believe in advocating for human values. Too often, we see corporate bottom lines dehumanize the claims process, reducing people to statistics and denials. It’s my job to advocate against that practice.”

Catherine has dedicated her practice to helping those who have suffered life-changing injuries because she has seen, through a close family member’s struggles, the devastating effects of such injuries. She has witnessed the physical and emotional toll it takes on the injured person and their family.

With a wealth of experience in the field, Catherine Shearer has established herself as a trusted advocate for individuals facing life-altering circumstances. Her job is to help put families back together after these tragic events.

Catherine’s commitment to her clients goes beyond legal knowledge; she is a compassionate advocate, who genuinely cares about the well-being of those she represents. Her approach combines legal proficiency with a human touch, providing a sense of reassurance and comfort to her clients throughout the legal process.

Effective July 1, 2021 – Her maximum contingency fee rate for most personal injury cases is 30% except for medical/dental/professional malpractice cases which would have a maximum rate of 40%.

Recent Settlements:

Some of the case results that Catherine has recently helped her personal injury and disability clients to win.

$2.3 Million Settlement

Man suffers traumatic brain injury after being hit by truck.

Catherine's client was walking across the street to work when a motorist driving a truck struck him in the crosswalk. The police charged the driver with careless driving, failing to yield to a pedestrian, improper tires, improper breaks, and failing to surrender proof of insurance. The Defendant's plates were seized and the vehicle was classified as unfit.

As a result of his injuries, medical doctors opined the client would not work again, and require extensive, life-long medical care.

$1.3 Million Settlement

Man deemed catastrophically injured.

Catherine's client was injured when a vehicle ran a red light, resulting in a front-end collision. After years of fighting with the insurance companies, Catherine's client was deemed to be catastrophically injured due to physical and psychological injures. Medical experts found he would never be able to work again and would require significant future care.
